The older I get the more grateful I am of my father. I never realized what it’s like to have a Godly father until he was gone. Sons, reverence your fathers.

Seems like this guy only brought his Bible along to be his note holder? Myself I like to see the opening Bible passage read out of the Bible not off your typed page. I also don’t like to see the Bible closed, nor pushed way to the side during the sermon.
Sometimes preachers will read their opening Bible passage and close it, then they preach… when that happens I close my mind to about everything they have to say. FYI.

So you closed your mind before he even preached. Pity.

This is a G3 Conference - the purpose of which is to educate, encourage, and equip local churches with sound biblical theology. I was listening to a pastor named Ray Vander Laan here on RUclips the other day. He explained the concept of Redemption - how the head of the household was responsible for his family and redeeming them if necessary. It really helped me understand redemption in a deeper, more meaningful way. Point is, biblical passages can be preached better if you understand some of the underlying concepts especially if they are rooted in another culture and sometimes stories are needed to better understand the point of the passage.

Excellent sermon; but poor timing on the last attempt at humor about what is only a fleshly matter. Alas, for we are but flesh.

    Be Honest.
This is more teachings on the Doctrines of Calvinism.
I don't follow Calvinism, I follow Jesus, who is one with the Father, not some distant unaproachable God.
The Word made flesh, not just the one on paper, or preached.
Not the one who is seperated from the whole council of Scripture by the Doctrines of Grace
    Colossians 1:15-17, Hebrews 1:3, John 1:18, John 14:9.
    Paul said 1 Corinthians 11
Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ,
and as it is written in 1 John 2:6
whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
Read the story in the Gospels sometime,
    and try it.

It should not be the case that when you hear certain concepts discussed that you dismiss the message as Calvinism.

That's all I've heard from G3 so far.
Maybe I simplify it by referring to it as Calvinism,
but although The Doctrines of Grace can be proved from selected scriptures, I don't find them supported by the whole of Scripture.
To me, too much of it is another Gospel, a different God.
By the way, I love your RUclips name the scripture it references.

      Of course. (You think that)
      That is the Calvinist view.
You can’t see what is wrong with it,
which is why I feel the need to challenge it.
      It is of course nonsense.
