Black-backed jackal, painted yesterday (May 24th) on my Android tablet. First fully-rendered painting I did on it! Proof of concept, really. Not too shabby!

Thanks, Kaaz! I tried to capture the "golden hour" in photography. This is especially striking when witnessed in the the more arid open plains of Africa. I hope to some day soon see these things with my own eyes, but in the meantime, photography will have to do!

I was really young at the time so I'm not sure I knew exactly, but she looked similar to a black-backed jackal with darker, purple markings on her back (similar to my current 'sona!). Thanks for asking! c: I might just make another jackal 'sona.
