Constantly casted Benetta crutches out to the park to exercise her one good leg as she tries to do often to keep it in shape. But she often has the problem many people who go bare-toed when casted do (especially those with such long pretty toes sticking out of the plaster -- as she walks she gets sharp bits of material flying in the opening of her cast and lodging between her cast and her tender sole. Especially when she is not paying attention to the ground and how loose the pebbles or gravel or whatever might be on it. She encounters the same problem today requiring her to prop her foot up to see if she can get it out and when she cannot to find a bench where she can better access to her exposed foot to relieve it before crutching off. It's a constant problem for Benetta and her vulnerable half naked foot when she's out in public.
