Allegra has received an enormous agate paddle balloon from a colleague in the UK, and can't wait to see how big it can get, and how much pressure is required to blow it to bursting. While she is eager to put the newly improved dual bellows foot pump to a test, she has a hard time resisting the urge to use her lungs to inflate this monster. Her cheeks expand to surprising dimensions, in part because she accidentally kinks the hose leading to the balloon, while mistakenly suspecting that the problem is with the one she is blowing into! After a considerable number of massive puffs from her powerful lungs, she begins to mash her long toes all the way down on the pedals of the pump. She quickly falls into a rhythm, and enjoys the leg exercise, then tries to blow and pump at the same time, and then alternates until the balloon finally lets go with an thunderous bang. Pressure was recorded the entire time at a rate of 200 samples per second.
