Description

Anastasia Rose is new at the Lab, and in order to get used to the equipment, decides to check out a decent-sized round balloon.  Specifically, she chooses a 15" Mexican agate, and uses a tube to put the balloon a safe distance from her face.  She forgoes a check valve in order to build her breathing skills.  Her first puff creates a colorful bulb, and makes it look like she is blowing a beautiful piece of glassware.  But her strong lungs quickly expand it to a very healthy size, and we see it bouncing as a balloon should.  Before long she, is rewarded with a thrilling pop, and examines the pressure measurement to reveal a classic balloon curve - an initial pressure peak, followed by a quick drop, and slow buildup to popping at close to the initial inflation pressure.
