Description

Bailey has been asked to test one of the new series of Chinese hot water bottles.  She starts by sniffing it, stretching it, and trying to blow it with just the rubber nozzle pressed to her inflated cheeks.  She then puts it on a hose and tries to get it started by blowing on her tuba mouthpiece.  These used to reliably inflate at around 1.3 PSI, but it looks like the new ones need more pressure.  She tries to use the foot pump to get it "over the hump" of the initial inflation pressure, but the pump seems to have lost its former abilities.  Now she is down to her last resort - a different blowing tube that lets her expand the rubber as tightly as she can, then let of the pressure, and go again.  Over a succession of maximum-effort puffs, she manages to get it to start expanding, and then grow to considerable size - until it can't grow any more.  Truly an epic struggle - but well worth it.  Who could have imagined that tiny Bailey would join the ranks of hot water bottle mouth-blowers!
